Filhoses de abóbora (Pumpkin Fritters)


Recipe

Peel the pumpkin and boil it until tender. Drain and allow to cool down completely.
When the pumpkin is cold, add the eggs and the sugar. Then add the lemon zest and the alcoholic beverage.
Finally add the flour and the yeast to the mixture and mix well.
Heat the oil. With help from a spoon, mould small balls and fry.
Serve coated with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar.

1kg wheat flour
10 eggs
200gr sugar
Lemon zest
yeast
alcoholic beverage (a dash)
