Saffron Length from Sweden
Crumble the yeast ina bowl and heat milk, water and butter up to 38 degrees.
Add the rest of the ingredients and knead the dough mixer for 15 minutes.
Cut the dough in 350 gram pieces, roll the pieces into balls.
Let the dough rise, while it’s covered at room temperature, for 20 minutes.
While the dough rises, prepare the filling.
Roll the dough to a size of an A-4 paper.
Mix almond pulp, sugar, butter and some vanilla sugar together.
Put the filling and raisin on top of the dough, roll the dough from the short side.
Cut the rolled dough with a scissor on the sides so the cuts looks like leaf's.
Let it rise again. Swirl egg and coat it on the sweet bread, decorate with some pearl sugar.
Put it in the oven when the temperature is 200 degrees.
Take the saffron length out when it has a golden color.
