Tiramisù

Description

Tiramisù originated in Treviso, a region in northern Italy.
A typical dessert served in every season of the year.
According to Friuli Venezia Giulia, the disputed dessert was invented at the Hotel
Roma in Udine, run by Norma Pielli and her husband, Giuseppe "Beppino" Del
Fabbro.
In Pieris, in the province of Gorizia, the history of tiramisu was written by Mario
Consolo, inventor of the Vetturino, a dessert with chocolate and zabaglione, whose
recipe has been served since the 1940s.
But the Academy of Cuisine, where the Municipality of Treviso deposited the original
recipe in 2010, agrees with the Veneto region, following the writings of Giuseppe
Maffioli on the origins of the famous dessert.

Recipe
