This is a traditional appetizer or side dish of northwest Croatia, enriched with roasted pumpkin seeds and virgin pumpkin seed oil - Protected Geographical Indication (PGI)
Step 1: Bring water to a boil in a pot, add salt.
Step 2: Slowly start adding cornflower, mixing constantly.
Step 3: Place the wooden spoon in the centre of the mash - it helps the mash to cook evenly.
Step 4: Spoon the mash into a serving bowl, add melted butter, sprinkle with roasted pumpkin seeds, drizzle some pumpkin seed oil over it and finally add double cream.
