Six unique Latvian products have been registered in the registers of protected product names in the EU - Sklandrausis, Salted rye bread and Jāņu cheese; registration of protected designations of origin - Latvian large gray peas; and registration of protected indications of geographical origin - Carnikava lamprey and Rucavas white butter.
