New competition!
There's a new competition at the Annual Conference in Vilnius this year! Food carving!
Food carving - the art of carving fruit or vegetables, a technique that originates from Asia and has been known
for over a thousand years.
It’s a constantly evolving, eye-catching art that includes a large variety of
colourful compositions, sculptures or individual carvings.
As long as you have a carving knife virtually
anyone can start creating unique flowers, leaves, lines or figures and assemble everything to more complex
compositions. It not only impresses your guests, but this type of decoration is also very popular in
restaurants, at banquets and events, during wedding ceremonies, as a gifts and more!
Every activity can grow from a little hobby to a world known professional level. Food carving has no exception.
There are many different food carving competitions, from local ones to world championships.
AEHT life carving competition is one of them. It’s a great opportunity to show your skills, test your
